Asylum - South London

A little while ago we were lucky enough to film our very first wedding inspiration film, alongside photographer Laura Babb, at Asylum. We were blown away by this fantastically original location so when we were booked to film C + W's wedding there over the summer, we were thrilled to be back.  Based in Caroline Gardens Chapel, founded in 1827, Asylum is an artist lead organisation and the space is hired out both for events and as a location for film and photography.  The chapel was bombed in the blitz and subsequently gutted however, remarkably, the original stained glass windows survived and remain intact today.  The exterior is also delightful, a square of former almshouses complete with Victorian gas lamps.  It really is a venue full of both history and character.

See below for Yay! films shot at Asylum, All Heart and the wonderful wedding of C + W.
